The answers 03:14
What’s our purpose? Let me take some time to think I didn’t know you’d ask me that right now so I’ve not thought about it… Why are we here? These are bigger questions than a normal man can know without some help from greater minds than his… Who are your friends? What are you the CIA? There’s no-one in my life who doesn’t have a reason to exist… WE NEED ANSWERS! OK pal just you sit tight and I’ll be glad to dredge my soul and find some words to fit your script Purpose is a construct – opening your mind and heart is all you really need to do Our time on this planet’s short - so make the most of it, there’s nothing you need do except just BE Friends are all around you - in contrast to the popular belief that we all stand alone Welcome to the cosmos - it’s big and scary but be sure it has a need for us to live

Don’t make me assume my ultimate form Or you’re gonna wish you’d never been born God hates a coward, but in the right light My words are weapons, so shut up and fight No need for punch ups, I’m way beyond that You are the dumb dog, and I am the cat Spit bars like bullets, throw verses like knives I’m living all of my pussy nine lives Don’t make me assume my ultimate form Or you’re gonna wish you’d never been born Bring down your hammer, and I’ll bring down mine You’ll quit your whinging, when I draw the line We could play nicely, if you shut your trap I’ve had enough of your petulant crap So self-deluded, you think you’re the don But you’re the reason the fight carries on

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth Makes the whole world more blind and the mouth much less use But what’s sauce for the gander is same for the goose And the lack of one tooth makes the rest much more loose Yet it all hangs together A leg for a leg and a nose for a nose So you hobble along past the blooming red rose Maybe some day you’ll work out where everything goes Or just keep on a-hobbling, with one eye on your toes While it all hangs together An arm for an arm and an ear for an ear Got no use for a cuddle, nothing soothing to hear Seems your vague paranoia wasn’t just random fear As you cry (with one eye) into tightly held beer And it all hangs together A mouth for a mouth and a lung for a lung Silent melody hangs in the still air, unsung And you answer the phone, but don’t know if it rung Not much left of you now, do you still need your tongue? So it all hangs together A foot for a foot and a hand for a hand Now you crawl along slow, like a slug in wet sand Nothing ventured nor gained, still you can’t understand Why the rules of the game are the lay of the land If it all hangs together A head for a head and a brain for a brain Now it’s too late to go round the playground again And the only thing left is a memory of pain And we’ll all hang together

Sleep. Sleep in sweetest night – night that hides a truth, night that hides the light. Dream. Dream like open door – door to show a way, door to show you more. Eyes. Eyes shut tight yet see – see the dream you were, see a way to be. Climb. Climb to highest peak - peak with valleys deep, peak the view you seek. Now. Now is always here – here is all there is, here the point past fear.

The dialogue 05:26

The elevator 06:27
Take another slice of action Each new day a fresh distraction Lowest ebb brings strange elation Fantasy interrogation Speak your mind to burst the bubble Every word brings you more trouble Daily puke out their opinions Seeking fresh minds, willing minions Choke it down like chick from mother First one lie and then another Feathered nest makes life so easy Swallow so much makes you queasy Going up, first floor Going up, second floor Going up, third floor Going up, fourth floor Fifth floor and you’re nearly there (nearly there, nearly there, nearly there) Sixth floor is a frightful scare (frightful scare, frightful scare. frightful scare, frightful scare) Seven, eight, and nine floors later (nine floors later, nine floors later, nine floors later, nine floors later) Tenth floor on the elevator (elevator, elevator, elevator, elevator, elevator, elevator, elevator, elevator) The elevator The elevator The elevator etc
8.
Kidneys 05:45
Filter out the poison, make some room for songs you’d rather sing Batten down the hatches, there’s no point in mindful torturing Round and round and round and round Opinions driven underground A bitter taste of déjà vu It always means the same to you Yet rising from the smoking pile You summon up a twisted smile Remembering what you forgot That never is whenever not Take a small step forward, keeping gaze fixed firmly on the prize Best foot first, with steady gait, nobody moves, nobody dies Round and round and round and round Opinions driven underground A bitter taste of déjà vu It always means the same to you Yet rising from the smoking pile You summon up a twisted smile Remembering what you forgot That never is whenever not
9.
Deaf ears 04:03
Shouting, shouting, shouting, shouting Screaming at the pointless pictures Bawling like it makes a difference Cotton wool dry mouth softens at the seams Opens it once twice three times in the schemes Falling on deaf ears, suspend disbelief Wrapped up like Christmas’ shiny glitter grief Make the best of all things, fake it doesn’t show Safe mask for the feelings, chance for them to flow, Open them up wider than all those little men Safe alone in house and it begins again Screaming at the pointless pictures Bawling like it makes a difference Tiresome tittle tattle and endless pissy wit No one pays attention, their screens are full of it Scrolling dead opinions, anyone could care Measuring the value, momentary share Echo chamber voices, friends you’ve never met Sizing up the chances of an odds on bet Taking time to read more, words that never end Working on those letters that you’ll never send Shouting, shouting, shouting, shouting Screaming at the pointless pictures Bawling like it makes a difference Tinnitus and deaf ears, the song remains the same Heard it all repeated in everything but name Been around the track so many times before Tired of being washed up on that grubby shore Time we started planning, seeds need time to grow Everything is counted, but when we’ll never know Clear out your ears, squeegee your brain clean Start to live the life you say you always mean
10.
Fop killer 05:01
To see round corners, but not down the straight road With both eyes closed, it makes light work of the load By every turn another trick of the mind Can turn the tables to be cruel to be kind When clear skies and open fields up ahead May seem inviting for the easily led But there are fractures at the limits of sight Cracks in the fabric of perpetual night So smile and laugh and skip along down the way With no great reason to think deep every day There are no fables that make sense any more Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law

Camouflage 06:13
Never easy hiding from someone who’s always hidden Cast aside like refuse on a monumental midden Bide your time then realise your time was never bidden Always ride the waves to find new waves you’ve never ridden Roll the rock in front of cave of thought to make a new den Every little helps to build the cage that holds your own zen Taking time to make it all just so, but no one knows when Cages will unlock or rocks reveal the spirit open Never easy hiding from someone who’s always here
